Statute
The statute can be read in full on the Statute page, which also links to the original document filed with the RUNTS as a PDF. The Italian text is the only legally binding version.
Governing bodies
The bodies of the Pro Loco are the members’ assembly, the board of directors and — once the thresholds set by articles 30 and 31 of the Italian Third Sector Code are exceeded — the supervisory body and the audit body. Every office in the association is elected and unpaid: members of these bodies are entitled only to reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses actually incurred and documented.
Annual accounts
The statement of income and expenditure is drawn up each year by the board of directors and approved by the members’ assembly within 120 days of the end of the financial year. Under article 22.3 of the statute, the accounts are lodged at the association’s registered office in the ten days before the assembly and may be inspected by any member on written request.
To request a copy of the latest approved accounts, write to info@prolocopreore.it.
Non-profit status
The association is not run for profit. Any distribution, whether direct or indirect, of profits or operating surpluses to members, founders, directors or collaborators is prohibited in any form. On dissolution, the remaining assets — net of liabilities — are transferred to other third sector entities, as required by the statute and by the Italian Third Sector Code.
